Interesting is also to discover how the Vatican Museums and the Vatican State come about. Who were the popes who collected and commissioned what we can admire today walking along the many corridors and rooms of this independent state. Why was St Peter Cathedral built? AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY [10]

So many books, so many translations of the Bible. Some of these translations have made history like no others.  The work behind the translations was not easy; in fact, it was often dangerous. Early translations were made by a series of people fascinated by the idea of adherence to truth. They didn't all agree about what the truth was, but their dedication to that concept was more important to them than their lives. Some died violently for the cause of translation.  We will see these Bible and the history behind, the people, the places and the events that has shaped the Bible’s history and Europe.
